As summer TV season begins, NBC is switching up its shows, bringing back some fan-favorites while canceling others.
While no longer an NBC series, Law & Order: Organized Crime was also canceled after five seasons. This series was originally canceled by NBC and moved to Peacock for its fifth season. It then got a run on NBC in fall 2025, and then there was silence until just before crunch time for the NBC Upfronts in May 2026.
NBC is clearing space in its lineup, and several fan-favorite shows—including one that's been around for nearly 30 years—won't be back.
