A Port St. Lucie tax preparer has been sentenced to prison for tax fraud and lying on a naturalization application.
Phillipe Bien-Aime allegedly used two identities to gain legal status and then U.S. citizenship before becoming North Miami Mayor.
DHS said the man “tried every trick in the book” to remain in the United States after losing lawful status.
