Our Next Generation Port is slowly taking shape at Tuas, Singapore. Yesterday, we launched the first caisson (a giant retaining wall structure for the wharf). Another 221 caissons will be built and installed over the next few years, to complete Phase 1 of our Tuas Terminal. This is an awesome #engineering feat. Each caisson is as tall as a 10-storey #HDB block and as heavy as 8,000 cars combined! All the caissons are proudly #MadeInSingapore as they will be prefabricated on site. I had a good ch
